报告摘要：The practice of analyzing wastewater to track the presence of drugs or pathogens within the population had already been in use for several decades, but it gained unprecedented prominence during the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of this, we have reached out to specialists from various nations, seeking their insights regarding the future prospects and constraints of wastewater-based epidemiology. This presentation aims to shed light on the potential advancements and challenges that WBE might encounter in the times ahead. By gathering a diverse range of expert opinions, we strive to chart a comprehensive path for the evolution of this pivotal field.

报告人简介：Dr. Thai is an Associate professor at the Institute of Environmental Science and Health, University of Queensland, Australia. He has long been engaged in environmental monitoring and environmental health research. His main research interests are the use of wastewater epidemiology to assess human exposure to chemical and biological factors such as illicit drugs, personal care products, legacy and novel organic pollutants, novel coronavirus on a large scale. Dr. Thai has published over 200 high-level SCI papers, Google H index: 49, SCOPUS H-index: 45.
